Matia Island Marine State Park

A dramatic cove with fantasy forest canopy and swirling sandstone formations will entice boaters to moor and explore the Isle. Located in the San Juan Islands, Matia Island Marine State Park is a secluded little island accessible only by boat.

Water activities
Boaters may use the 128-foot moorage dock or the buoys. Phone registration is available at buoys.
Fishing, crabbing and shellfishing may be done at the park with a current permit.
Diving and kayaking may be done here with advanced experience and gear.
Camping
Camping at Rolfe Cove Campground is first-come, first-served. There are six sites available. Potable water and trash service are not available.
