Reed Island State Park is a marine day use park located on the Columbia River, east of Vancouver. Boat in for a rustic park experience, relax on the sandy beach and grassy meadows. You may catch a glimpse of the herons that call this island home. There are no services here.

Picnic and day use
Two picnic sites are available. There is no potable water, garbage service, or restroom on the island. Make sure you bring everything you need for an enjoyable time and pack it out when you leave.
Boating
There are no docks or buoys here, but you may beach your boat on the sand.
Birdwatching
Reed Island offers many opportunities for birdwatching. Keep an eye out for herons during your visit as there is an active colony on the southwest side of the island. The Steigerwald National Wildlife Refuge is located to the north and you may glimpse many local bird species including heron, egret, osprey, ibis and tufted duck.
