Safety

The waters in Padilla Bay fluctuate with the tides. Please be aware of the tides schedule to prevent your boat from getting stuck and becoming "high and dry."

The south bay gets hit by winds, creating rough waters that can push boats around. The south bay also has lots of logs and a steep step incline that makes access to the primitive camping area difficult.
