Non-motorized grooming reports

Grooming reports are provided on our website as they are given to us.
They don't represent the most accurate current conditions.

1/11/25: Groomed lower trails and Amabilis to the Y.

1/10/25: Groomed lower trails and Amabilis to the top.  Rolled south loop.

1/9/25: Groomed lower trails and Amabilis to the top.

Remember Gunnar Hagen Race this Sunday at Cabin Creek so expect crowds and probably not the best place to go skate since the lower trails will have double track set down middle of trail.

1/8/25: Groomed lower trails and Amabilis to the Y. Rolled Erling Stordahl and tracked the Challenge loops.  We still need a bit more snow to set a track.

1/7/25: Groomed lower trails.

1/6/25: Groomed lower trails and Amabilis to the Y.

1/5/25: Received over a foot of wet sticky heavy snow this morning.  At 5am it turned to pouring rain. We are attempting to get The Road and the Berg loop. Conditions are challenging and trees are beginning to unload use caution.

1/4/25: Groomed lower trails and Amabilis to the Y. Rolled Erling Stordahl and set double track for Ski for Light.  Not the place to go if you're skating today but first classic tracks for the season here.

1/3/25: Groomed lower trails and Amabilis to the top.

1/2/25: Groomed lower trails, The Road and Amabilis to the top right side of the Y.

1/1/25: Groomed lower trails and Amabilis to the top.

12/31/24: Groomed lower trails and Amabilis to the top right side of Y.  Several small sections of lower trails are melted out due to water.  A section of The Road is melted out due to water over road.

Rolled Erling Stordahl, several melted out water spots and still very low snow cover.

12/30/24: Groomed lower trails and Amabilis to the top.

12/29/24: Groomed lower trails, Amabilis to the top and The Road.  Rolled Ozbaldy. Rolled Erling Stordahl, significant snow needed before we can groom due to rough terrain, stumps and standing water.

12/28/24: Groomed lower trails, The Road and Amabilis to the top.  Rolled Ozbaldy.

12/27/24: Groomed lower trails and Amabilis to the top.  We are in desperate need of freezing temperatures. Rolled Erling Stordahl, no Challenge Loops.  More snow and freezing temperatures needed before we can set track.

12/26/24: Tracked lower trails and groomed The Road. Received almost a foot of wet heavy sticky snow.  Expect lower trails to be track packed with big snowcat and still very rough. Conditions should improve with more passes tonight.

12/25/24: Groomed The Road and Amabilis to the top.

12/23/24: No grooming this morning due to warm temperatures and saturated base.

12/22/24: Groomed The Road and Amabilis to the top.

12/20/24: Rolled lower trails and Amabilis.  With the warm weather  and rain we are trying to manage the slushy soup the best  we can.

Expect limited grooming until weather improves.

12/18/24: Rolled Erling Stordahl less Challenge Loops.

*** no grooming tonight due to warm temperatures and steady rain ***

12/17/24: Rolled fresh snow on lower trails and The Road.

12/16/24: Rolled lower trails and The Road.  Rolled up and around Amabilis leaving skied in track form yesterday.

12/15/24: Rolled The Road and Amabilis to the Y.  Set track on left and right Y.

12/14/24: Rolled The Road and up Amabilis left and right Y. Logging has been completed for winter and The Road was rolled for its entire length, little fresh snow over hard ice.

12/13/24: Rolled up Amabilis both sides of the Y. Planning on grooming and setting a track from Y up ( lower if we can ) for Saturday. Still need more snow for lower trails, The Road is covered with a dusting of fresh snow over last week's freezing rain.

12/8/24: Rolled up Amabilis both left and right Y.  Snowing heavily and lower trails are mostly snow covered but need more snow.
