Online reservations
Visit washington.goingtocamp.com to search for camp sites, group camps and day-use picnic shelters, cabins, yurts and more! Explore different parks with reservable facilities, see site pictures, and visit the State parks online store.
The online reservation fee is $2 less than reserving over the phone. Prior to making an online reservation, review the list below for reservations types made only through the call center.
Reservations call center
Call 888-CAMPOUT / (888) 226-7688 or the Washington Telecommunications Relay Service at 711 or (800) 833-6384 to reserve by phone.
The call center is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, except Christmas and New Year's Day. Hours are shortened on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
Types of reservations made through the call center only
Split reservations
If one campsite is not available for all of your dates, a second campsite may be reserved to complete your stay.
You can reserve a maximum of two campsites and pay only one reservation fee if both sites are at the same park, the dates are consecutive, and reserved during the same call.
Reservations for multiple-sites
Designated campsites that must be reserved together. If you change or cancel a multiple-site reservation, the whole reservation must be changed or canceled.
Double sites (multiple-sites with only two sites) can be reserved online.
Reservations for others
If you need to reserve several sites for the same dates, let the know agent at the beginning of the call. Your agent can lock the sites to ensure they remain available during your call.
Be prepared before you call
Have your credit card number, arrival and departure dates and your park and campsite preferences. Make sure to have alternative choices ready. Know the length of your RV or trailer, and how many campers and tents you'll need.
Specific customer information for each site reserved must be provided to complete a reservation. Have the primary camper's name, address, phone number, email address.
Window for making reservations
Reservations can be made up to nine months in advance of the first date of your trip.
Fort Worden State park vacation houses, conference and event centers have a different window for making reservations. Please call (360) 344-4431 to inquire.
You can reserve Retreat Centers up to one year in advance.
Last minute reservations
You can reserve campsites, group camps, shelters, and roofed accommodations (cabins, yurts, wall tents, etc.) until 11:59 p.m. the day prior to your arrival date.
Campsite reservations can be made until 4 p.m. the same day for the following parks:

Vacation houses can be reserved up to three days in advance of your arrival date. Vacation houses at Fort Columbia and Cape Disappointment can be reserved up to six days in advance.
Two-night minimum
Vacation house reservations have a two consecutive night stay minimum all year.
Roofed accommodations have a two consecutive night minimum from May 15 to Sept.15, and on weekends all year.
ADA reservations
We offer campsites, roofed accommodations, and vacation houses that meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
ADA only sites can be found by visiting washington.goingtocamp.com. Make sure to choose "ADA Only" under "Filters."
We restrict ADA only campsites for individuals with disabilities. If you reserve an ADA only site, you must provide proof of eligibility when you check in at the park.
Proof may include an ADA placard ID card or disabled license plate, a State parks disability pass, or other proof of disability. Make sure to bring your valid driver license or ID card. The site must be occupied by the disabled individual for the entire length of reservation.
