Lake Sammamish Management Plan Update
Project summary
State Parks is reviewing and updating Lake Sammamish State Park’s Management Plan, which was originally completed in 2004.
- Location: Lake Sammamish State Park
- Estimated start date: November 2024
- Estimated end date: December 2025
The purpose of the management plan update is to establish objectives that address conservation and recreation, such as kokanee habitat restoration and re-establishment, interpretation, education, and compatible recreational development.
Many of the projects being planned and implemented at the park are consistent with the current Lake Sammamish Management Plan; the update will confirm plan goals and objectives and identify future actions that will support conservation and recreation into the future.
