Gas /propane self-contained camping stoves and portable fire pits allowed.

No charcoal or wood fires allowed.

Steamboat Rock State Park

Steamboat Rock State Park is a 5,043-acre camping park with 50,000 feet of freshwater shoreline at the north end of Banks Lake. Hike the columnar, basalt rock with a surface area of 600 acres to enjoy views of Grand Coulee and the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. 

Boating

Spend your day on Banks Lake, using one of the seven watercraft launches at three locations with 320 feet of dock. A marine portable toilet and fish cleaning stations are available.

Grand Coulee Dam

Take a trip to Grand Coulee Dam to take a tour and enjoy the interpretive center. End the night watching their laser-light show at Crown Point.

Camping

Campsites range from primitive to full hookups and cabins, accessible restrooms and showers available. Camping is open year-round, reservable April 1 to Oct. 31. Maximum site length is 50 feet (limited availability). Pull through sites available.

A reservation is required for an equestrian site at Northrup Canyon. To make a reservation, call (509) 633-1304.

Grocery, Espresso, Ice, Firewood

Lake Craves is located in the day use area of the park and offers prepared food, beverages, espresso, ice cream, snacks and a variety of camping necessities including firewood and bagged ice. Lake Craves is open weekends only in May and daily from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. **New this season** Want delivery to your campsite? Lake Craves now offers ice cream, firewood and bagged ice deliveries to your campsite starting at 6:00 p.m. You must pre-order for delivery on their website.
